a strange how question

I have a bluesbreaker....it has kt66 which are 6l6....how can a amp sound like a marshall (brittish) with 6l6 and not say: el34, el84

The KT66 is of European origin and they are only "replaceable with tweaks" with 6L6s. It was original developed by a British engineer and is technically a tetrode (the KT stands for Kinkless Tetrode).
Other factors include the fact the manufacturers tend to source parts locally and so Marshall mainly had British designed/made (Dagnall, Drake etc.) output transformers as opposed to say Fender who would have used mainly American made. The OT have a large effect on the overall tonality of an amp. Even Hammond or Mercury Magnetics replica Marshall transformers are based on the original British designs.
Speaker choice would be another factor. Marshall used Celestion speakers who are a British company as opposed to, again, say Fender who used mainly Jensens I think. Some would argue that the speaker accounts for up to 50% of the tone of an amp.

thanks a lot....my bluesbreaker came with groove tube which say 6l6 and kt66 on them....have you heard kt88...I am thinking about thoose (from eurotubes)
