Blowing fuses!!??!

I made the mistake of cranking my amplifier up too loud a while back. It is just a marshall AVT 100 and I was trying to keep up with drums and another guitar player. I cranked it almost all the way. Then it shut itself down. off. Luckily not my DSL!! I opened it up and saw a blown fuse. I replaced it twice, both times when I powered up it stayed on about 10 seconds and blew again. any general ideas?? I appreciate any response, as I am by no means an amp tech.

Re: Blowing fuses!!??!

let me also add that it had worked fine for a week or two hooked up to that cab, only had a problem when I had it cranked.

Re: Blowing fuses!!??!

alright check itout, this was months ago. I had it hooked up to a 4x12 cab. used it like that for two weeks. The last time I was practicing I turned up all the way and it shut off. I unhooked the cab and have had it hooked up to its own 1x12 since. I since have bought two fuses, both blew within 10 seconds of powering up. now its just sitting. I have a dsl100 but would like to fix this amp to use in my room. and yes, I unhooked the 1x12 when I used the 4x12 cab, cause the amp only has one speaker output.
