Not a Marshall but....

I'm looking at modding my Peavey Windsor.....I want to mod or replace the preamp to make it more like the Model 1992 JCM 800 BAss amp....

I was thinking of tearing out the Peavey preamp board and turret boarding the 1992 preamp in there.....I don't know if anybody has done this or if the transformers are compatable....any feedback would be great....
