I have also heard good things about the Vox ToneLab LE units, but I have never used one yet...

"Best budget multi effects" hmmmm.... Believe it or not, most of the stuff in this thread is opinion, beauty in the eye sort of. The best thing to do (IMHO) is leave your wallet at home and go to the music store and try them out for yourself. What works for me may not be best for you. I have had great luck with the stuff I have... because I like it! When you find what works for you, go back home and get your wallet.
