Just noticed this on ebay You have to buy this pedal, the bidding is at £1.04, but I'm sure it could go as high as £2.95 so get in quick

I sold it on EBAY for less than half of what I paid for it. Horrible pedal.
Indeed, it sounds dead.. no warmth or anything like that.

Re: Worst effex

Are you talking about the one with the wicker or Russian model? I just got a US NYC Big Muff Pi Reissue and it is a lot better than a handful of other pedals out there.

Re: Worst effex

From personal experiance:
anything DOD, Digitech (can't comment on Hardwire series), Boss (I've had a lot of their pedals and I kick myself in the ass after wasting money on them), Zoom, any type of cheap Multi F\X unit including a POD. I had a POD for a couple of years out of necessity but it really doesn't sound that great to me.

Mid 90s I was gigging a 62 ac30 and a russian big muff with an old 70s tele. When I switched that pedal on, it was like a hammer to the head. Soooo goood and still the sound I hear and want in my head.
Last year I bought a new one and after soundchecking with it, it went straight back to the shop for a blackstar ht1, which wasnt great for my style (for sale now). The old pi was amazing, but I was a kid of 21 or whatever. ...

Re: Worst effex

I would love to try out the Rams head version but for $1000 I'll stick with the reissue for 1/10 of the price!
