Exclamation Heavy Metal HM-2

Hey guys, I am quite embarrassed. I have a mid 80's Boss HM2 pedal. I tried a "blind mod" to see what would happen. I took out five caps, and put them back in, in a random order, and although I wrote down what went where, I lost that paper, and am now upset cause now it won't make sound and I am upset. If any body has an un-moded one of these, I need to know the following cap values: c14, c17, c18, c20, c21. Thanx guys.

Re: Heavy Metal HM-2

LOL, i'm sorry but that is pretty funny.

I'm pretty sure I have one, I'll see if I can't open her up and post some pictures on here for you.

At one time I bought, a Heavy Metal pedal, Metal Zone, and a Moho modded Metal Zone to compare them all together so I'll dig out the HM tomorrow. It's 3am here and I still have a beer buzz from the Three Bad Jacks show earlier.

Unhappy Re: Heavy Metal HM-2

That helped a little, but what I really need is something that tells me what values go where. So, American Viking, do you have any pictures? Thanx guys.

Re: Heavy Metal HM-2

Sorry for the delay, I'm just having trouble locating it as I'm in the process of moving. I have a hunch it's at my rehearsal space, I'll check tomorrow.

Re: Heavy Metal HM-2

I miss my old Heavy Metal pedal. That thing nailed that 1983 thrash sound. Now all you get is mid scoop.
