JCM 2000 DSL and Rocktron voodu

I have a jcm 2000 dsl, bought a rocktron voodu valve preamp. Did not realize it was a preamp, the instructions do not show how to connect to an amp head. Is there a way to connect this to effects loop, I connected straight into the front of the amp and guitar to the voodu sounds like Sh**

Can anyone please help?

does this unit have f/x also ??

No, it only has balanced (R) and (L) outputs and unbalanced.

You'd connect the Send from your amps FX loop to the input of it, then the mono output to the Return of your amp.

My DSL 100 has an effects loop. Thats where I hooked up my 10 band MXR.
