What brand of Tubes should i get???

hey all,
i got a jcm900 4500 (50w) hi-gain dual reverb head w/ 5881's and i wanna switch to el34's. what brand tube would you fellow jcm900 owners recommend, my sound is classic rock w/ a shake or 2 of medern-zep, sabbath, clapton, jimi, w/ rage against the machine, godsmack, wolfmother.
I heard good things about the ri mullard, elctro harms, gt's, jj's, svetlana''s & tung-sol but cant decide! I run thru a pedal board that consists of BigMuff pi-NY made,boss blues driver & mxr wylde o/d - that consists of my pedal distortion. cheers!

I've heard bad things about the RI Mullards. Not the tone, but the reliability.

ya i heard at my local guitar shop that everyone with a marshall raves about the the jj's and same thing with the mullards regarding reliability...

.but sound mint
Leaning towards the jj's too thanx guys anyone else with a recommendation? cheers

I recommend JJEL34, if NOS is too expensive.
In combination with a heavy/agressive V1 and V2-VX JJ 12AX7 in the preamp it delivers a really nice balanced marshalltone.
EH EL34 will give you a tone more on the bright side, the SED a more classic sound and the EH 6CA7 will give you a tone between 6l6 and EL34 - it just depends on what you want

SED "winged =C=" are also highly regarded. SED used to be Svetlana.
