Wow,
You have an Echoplex! Awesome! Is it the solid state version? Man, I'd love to have one of those... probably run it through my Fender though. I use a Boss DD-2 for my Marshalls echo. I was thinking of adding reverb to to my Marshall though. I was thinking of getting one of those Fender reverb units. I thought that would sound pretty sweet in addition to my DD-2. |

Replacement Tape
Hi,
Can't you get replacement tape from Fulltone or Dunlop? I thought they sold those type of things. Well, it's still awesome to own I'm sure. I'm saving my pennies for Fulltone's version of the solid state Echoplex that he's thinking of making. Well, take care! |

Are you talking about the Fulltone Tube Tape Echo? I think Keith Richards uses one of those. They're a little bit pricey IMO, but if you can afford it it'll spare you the cleaning and fixing you have to do on a 70's (or earlier) Echoplex! Most of them are dirty and need a good cleaning or change now hard to find parts. |
