Re: Ill Never use Behringer Again
I guess like any other budget brand you makes your choice and pay your money. Sometimes they will be great sometimes not, but I think you will get a higher percentage of failures when compared to say Boss (in the case of stompboxes). Also once you start gigging gear you soon find out if it's up to the job.

My volume pedal just pucked in the middle of a take! Three months old. Damn. Where is the QC?

Re: Ill Never use Behringer Again
I've had a graphic Behringer eq-rack for more than five years and it's fine.
I'll guess when it comes to Behringer you need to be careful on what you spend your precious hard earned money.

Re: Ill Never use Behringer Again
Well... ahem - I set up a small practice PA in my studio for a rehearsal tomorrow and broke out my Behringer console. Bear in mind I bought this brand new around 6 years ago; it's been used maybe 5 times; and kept sealed in plastic for storage inbetween.
At first, nothing worked. I had to work the sliders/knobs to get signal - scratchy at first - then finally started working. Even had to work one of the connectors in and out a few times. Unbelievable! Anyone interested in a lightly used EURORACK UB1832FX-Pro Mixing Console? ![]() Still happy about their EQs. The RTA system in the Ultra-Curve Pro is wonderful - both for getting my studio monitors flat and for setting up a room live. Thank goodness.

Re: Ill Never use Behringer Again
I have the vintage delay and the V-Twin Bass pedal.
The vintage delay sounds like a cheap plastic piece of crap, but I've had no problems. And the V-Twin clone for bass sounds really good to my ears, but I'm no bass player, either. It works well turning my Marshall into a bass amp. |
