Just got a DSL 100 head and I'm fiddling with it. If there's a veteran DSL 100 online... feel free to give an advice.

What the settings to get a classic AC/DC tone ?

I use the classic gain on crunch mode, with no presence, half of treble, no middle, lots of bass, gain on 2 or 3 and lots of volume.

This gets it pretty close to me, but the high notes strings is a bit high and tends to "twang" a bit... any advice! Or a site telling those things ?

I read in quite a few different places that Angus likes to put most of his settings on "six". Whether that's true or not, who knows... Mine are mostly at six except for bass which is at five, middle which is at four. and reverb a touch under two. It doesn't quite have the AC/DC sound because I use a Strat, but plug an SG in there and it's pretty damn close!

Crunch mode: Low volume playing in the house.

Gain-5
volume-2
presence-3
treble-3
mids-5
bass-8
Deep Switch-out
Tone Shift-out
Aphex xciter and delay in loop and on.

Now I boost it with both my pedals: Bad Monkey & Boosta Grande. Adjust with guitar volume as needed. Doing this with the clean mode gets me the tones of the new cd.

I don't use just the amps gain. I boost to get a tighter more full bodied gain that has good tone. I can get ACDC on the red channel lead 1 too. I don't use Lead 2. Speakers V30/G12K100 mix.
