And they will whore out their mothers, sisters, daughters and grand daughters if they can make some extra cash...it’s just sickening if you ask me!

well its not sky diving , but I love kite landboarding on a hard beach, power sliding and at the end of the run or when the mood takes me , i'll throw the kite back behind me and get some air and throw it forwards as you need power to get a soft landing , throw it back to 1 0'clock for power for lift and then throw it to 11 o'clock for power to land nice and gentle-its pretty simple really and involves and huge amounts of fun -its just like kite surfing , only with a lightweight mountain board , and being harnessed to the kite , so you can handle the power , once you get use to being harnessed in and get used to leaning back its easy
my avatar picture is from my head cam , in the middle of a jump , with my shadow on the beach

I'm sorry about that previous post. It was a rant. I should resist the urge :)

Knowledge is power. If you know anything it's pretty obvious that path that you will follow.

I find the Golden Years are always when I look back. I could be in a situation at the present which I hate (my standard position) but in ten years time or so I look back and think "Man life was good then". I need to look at now from the future,....... It's not working yet though :)

    I'm 66.

    It's the rust years.

    I'm working because I can't afford myself.

I've survived Stage 3 colon cancer; Stage 4 colon cancer; blood Clots (which I still have in both arms and left leg); had a stroke while I was driving my truck and now going in for a biopsy (tomorrow) because I think the cancer has returned.

    Yeah, it's golden.

or.. just decided to be the best at what they do..offer service faster at the best price..answer the phone politely..have techs that are courteous & the best at what they do...set the industry standard in your field & be consistent...be a servant.....only takes 4 years to hit that elusive number so many seek...best part is .money means nothing in life ...your character does....the golden years start the minute we understand life inst about you..its about what can you do for others ..bring them up & you will rise to things that matter,,the golden years will be sitting all around you..the family..the peace the happiness...give that out ..it comes back to you & always thanks to above..

Retired military at age 52. Age 55.

I sat behind a desk 17 years. No deployments.

Getting $84K in pension with no property tax and VA benefits. If/when I get SS, that'll be six figures. Plus I fly around the world for free, Space A. Free parking.

EVERY day is like hitting the fucking lottery.

    Finishing up Grad work.

    If/when I join a band I won't collect salary. Only $ for gas and a burger.
