Bahh, I get so bored sometimes. But I've been non-stop inspired by this for several weeks and it's steadily holding my interest. Easy to play, a little harder to learn note-for-note. That's typical, but now I'm going for the feel, which takes time. I got all the notes down in a few days, then the timing of them all, and now I'm working on the actual feel which is where the real diamonds are mined and it becomes second nature. No big deal I guess, but at least it's held my attention for the last few weeks.

Been working on getting my motor home ready for the next few months.

Paid a repair guy over $300.00 to fix a leak in the roof in the front.

Last visit to the RV, I found a puddle on the dash board.

The cockpit TV doesn't turn on...........I think there's water damage.

My wife tells me not to confront the guy who did the front leak.

Looks like the whole roof needs seeling.

That's going to cost me $3k+.

I had Campbell Freightliner, in South Brunswick, NJ take care of a few things.

They did a diognostic and repairs...........cost me $3k+.

We drove to Hershey, Pa with the RV.

The check engine light came on 5 x.

Came back, brought it to Campbell again.

We get a phone call..........Campbell tells us they ran a diagnostic............the engine needs to be rebuilt..........it's over $8k now.

    I'm livid.

I go back to Campbell, "HEY, YOU GUYS DID A DIAGNOTIC THAT COST ME $3k, WTF IS THIS $8k CRAP????!!!!!!".

They released my RV with no charge.

    It's a money pit.

I've been fooling around with some more original stuff, but I always seem to fall back on doing a cover for fun in between good mojo (creative) days. This classic from my youth has been proving to be a challenging and fun (the solo is crazy good) tune to learn on guitar...

Yeah, its been a work in progress over a year, I gutted the master bathroom and slowly redesigned it, I'm in the home stretch installing the tile then I'll order some custom glass to finish off the shower.

For me the main solo in Im Burning For You by BOC. Its a tough one. Found a guy on Youtube that does it perfectly or as close as you can get and has tabbed it out. So trying to memorize the notes and then next will be the rhythm. What makes this a tough one is that it has some interesting scales in it and he has effects on it so its hard to distinguish each note.

Do you use the Ultimate Guitar tab site? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/

When I get stuck on something I always go there to get the details. :yesway:

    Wth?

What chassis and engine is your RV sitting on???

$8k rebuilds sound like BS.... so does "$3k roof sealing", btw.

8 songs - in scratch tracks..ready to go to studio. Put the brakes on last month. Changed amp strategy.Thinking of doing it all with jtm45-jtm50-jmp50 circuits vs always getting heavier..but my studio guy..once everything is dimed..the songs always escalate for some reason. we were laughing how the original scratch tracks are mellower but the same chords & progressions just get nasty..maybe the volume & gut punch causes it

Been asked to play a song for a memorial service. Ugh.
Haven’t gigged in 15 years and have never done a solo acoustic gig. Need to pull something together quick and hit an open mic to see how it goes.
Working on this for the service-

    WTF really.

I told Campbell no way on the rebuild.

    I have a 2005 350 Cat Diesel on a 41' Freightliner Chassis.

The engine has almost 38K miles on it.

I've been told that I don't drive it enough.

When you drive 20kK miles per quarter for work, I drive my motor home to vacation spots.

We've reserved a spot near Smithville. NJ for the Memorial day weekend.

Nothing musical. I finished my downstairs bathroom. Put up some new flashing at fascia areas including diverter at side porch. Now I am cutting 4+ tons of hickory trunk into manageable 150-200 lb. disk for splitting later on. I keep moving from one project to the next.
