    I just purchased this baby:

    Klein Tools MM6000

I debated on a Fluke 87v or a 117 but I really dig this one. It's USA made (with domestic and imported components - Lol), has all the bells and whistles, and it's just plain cool, to me. The price is jacked to list because they stopped making them (I think they were around $100 while produced) so in a "normal" case it's cheaper - they jacked them up because they knew "collector types" would eat up the made in USA factor and the little flag on it. It should be a good resale if I ever sell it though.

What are you using ..or should I call this thread "Show me your Fluke"? Lol.

    Rock! :dude:

87v I got for free brand new. It does everything I need it to and is robust. I am a happy man.

I do love Klein tools though. Maybe I need a second meter........

I bought my Fluke at a garage sale for $35.
It was covered in grease and dirt. I mean that pup was muddy.
I took it all apart and cleaned the shit out of everything, and put in new fuses and a battery holder.
It took about 6 hours to get all the grease out of it.
Then I spent about 2 more hours cleaning the test probes.
After all that, I turned it on and it worked 100%. I was laughing my ass off at that.:lol::lol:

And there it is, my $35 Fluke.

Tektronix DMM254 true RMS meter, plus a separate LCR meter for those tasks.

I have a Fluke coming my way at my dads house at some point this year. I grabbed a couple o-scopes a few years ago, sitting on the shelf in my basement now, lord knows what else he has I will grab, then maybe when I retire in a dozen years Ill have some time to figure out what all this stuff does. :yesway:
