Not that familiar with Paul Gilbert however I did find this vid interesting and informative.
Paul Gilbert is amazing …… 64th Note King !!! I was particularly fond of the “Mr. Big” era ……
Paul is amazing. I love to see his interviews not only because he's a wonderful musician, but also because he's always in a good vibe. I wish I have his temper.
One of the only guys from the "shredder" genre whose music I actually like. I love that he's so good without being a douche bag unlike a lot of other good players.
Years ago a friend brought over a live album by some band I'd never heard of... Racer X.
I was amazed, and we listened to it over and over that evening
Paul was one of Varney’s Shrapnel kids , Racer X , Mr. Big , a ton of Solo Albums and Guest Appearances …… Really Fun Player !!
Paul is always fun to watch. And a really good guitar player too.
Interesting that there is no TC Electronic MojoMojo pedal that he kept on banging on about all the time!
New sponsor I see.
I really don't need any more overdrive pedals....but I'm really tempted to pick up a MojoMojo.
I have nowhere near as many pedals as Paul Gilbert, but I do like what he does with them.
PG is great! Love watching him, and he always seems like he's just genuinely a friendly good guy all around.
339 I did buy one. Unfortunately it sits on a shelf now.
For some reason I did not go for it.
What didn't you like about it?
I like Paul Gilbert because he's a "collector" of lawsuit era MIJ guitars ,as I suppose I am
And he never seems to take himself too seriously
Also Josh is a cool guy , he NEVER slags rival pedal makers in his videos ,in fact ,he always seems to do the opposite
Gilbert has always been a genuinely nice guy with a meticulous, yet light hearted nature. Me and my singer at the time met him eons ago when he had just released the first Racer X album, definitely not a massively known player at the time anyway, and we both came away thinking "damn can he play, a super gifted musician, but he's such a nerd!" LOL. And I have to say it's been cool as hell to see over all these years him remain the same exact dude I met. Totally NOT a rock star. The notoriety, hit songs, signature gear, fame, respect, etc has not changed him at all.
Afraid I don't remember! lol Wasn't on my board for more than a coupla hours though. Guess it just didn't give me what I was looking for.?
Based on Forum responses looks like nobody has one on their board either??
Maybe if you Google and find some reviews on the pedal it will give you a good idea to order or not?
Just put this together. Naga Viper clone. Sounds pretty good
I did get to see him once, supporting Satriani in Manchester.
Took a while to get used to seeing him in the headphones he wears live.
@axe4me posted this MojoMojo vid in a thread recently.
Here's one he did in 2018 when he was still TC's man.
