What Makes The JCM800 Magic?

    My buddy was swinging it and the volume back and forth while I was playing and decided that the Knob should be called "TITS" and say "A" at one end and "DD" at the other.

    Well, I made it to the end . . . . this was on my to do list!

    Good luck to you Brad. I am sure you will get a good decent improvement on tone with what you are doing.

    But a few things that were mentioned by some of the wiser fellas here you need to remember, as I learned those lessons in time myself.

    Take that 2210 out and gig that bad boy if you enjoy it and it sounds good and makes you feel good playing it. That amp is going to get jealous with you taking the MA out for all the gigs while she has to stay home not having any fun.

    And you do not actually need to spend too much money on Merc Mag and a choke as well. The cheaper $ chokes work just fine for sure.

    It's those Marshall circuits. They're designed for a raw rock tone.
