I love pedals period. I have some fairly expensive ones, some industry standard mid priced ones and also a bunch of cheapies. I haven't counted but I'd guess I have about 60 pedals total.

I love finding diamonds in the rough whether it be pedals, amps or guitars. Here are some of the diamonds I have found in the cheapy pedal market..

Caline Hot Mushroom Compressor. What an outstanding pedal for only having two knobs. When used properly it pushes your signal over the top for wonderful sustain or gives you that chicken pickin thang when used clean.

Joyo Vintage Phaser. Every bit as good a s Phase 90 and I actually prefer it over my Phase 90.

Joyo Character series. I own them all? British, American, California, AC Tone. I prefer the British and the AC Tone. The California for me is a big FAIL but the American is very usable. Great for direct to FOH emergency back up pedals or with the character knob down as od/dist pedals.

Donner "The Wave" mod/delay. Does exactly what thy say it does. Great digital delay with some chorus like modulation when the toggle is flipped. Nano sized.

Talent Plexitron. I think it's supposed to be a clone of the Carl Martin Plexitone high gain side. I cant say for sure because I have never owned the Carl Martin Plexitone. What I will say is THIS PEDAL ROCKS HARD! If you like high gain Marshall type tones in a pedal then go get you one. It's nano sized too. I was so blown away by this pedal that I bought 2 more as backups in case it doesn't last. 2 years in and it's working as perfect as it did new. So the others went on other boards I have. I'd say this pedal is probably the best high gain Marshall pedal I've ever played through. Not kidding.

Of course I do have some crappy cheapy's too but you cant win em all. Feel free to share any cheapy pedal's you love. This thread is all about the love. :)

I will have to check them out. I have read many good things about them. I have some TCH stuff but not any guitar pedals. They make quality stuff.

I second the Joyo product Bob having the Joyo American which I'm of the opinion is really good along with their Scorpion Compressor .
Also check out Mooer and Nux pedals. Good, affordable pedals.

Hmm not sure. I'm kind of pi$$ed at myself for selling my EVH 5150III LBXII. Maybe a PRS MT15 will cure it. There's always the DSL20HR too I guess. I'd like a smallish tube head for well under a grand. H&K have the Tubemeisters but I had the 18 and wasn't crazy about it. Whatever it is it's going to be a channel switcher. I have just grown so used to having multiple channels.

I have a couple Joyos laying around. The Tremolo is pretty cool. The Vintage Overdrive IIRC is suppose to be an OCD clone. I think i may have the Phase pedal somewhere. Bad Monkey is a favorite here, eq can work with any amp.

I got a Boss OD-3 new for $75Aud, and it is my all time favorite drive.

Also, for $30, an Aroma germanium fuzz which does all that a fuzz-face should do, in a good metal mini-pedal format and works with a normal power supply

I'll go with the Bad Monkey overdrive, just seems to suit all 800 series.

My LGS has an Ibanez Soundtank TS5 Tube Screamer in stock (been there a while).
I did wonder about getting it, but the YT reviews all seem to slate the switch as the common failure.
It is made of plastic and looks awful. But it is Ibanez and purported to have genuine TS circuitry. Anyone got one?

I did not have this one but I had the Thrash Metal pedal and actually toured a little with it on my board back in the early 90's. From what I gather people like to mod them because they are easy to modify. I have the Tone Lok series tubescreamer TS7 which has the same micro switch, and yes they do fail more often but it wasnt hard to replace.

When I was in high school a DOD 250 was 20 bucks ,that's my favorite pedal of all time

I LOVE the TC Spark mini . Have found 3 of them used for under 40 bucks

I liked the Danelectro minis, the vibe , which now costs a fortune . The tremelo and especially the Bacon n Eggs amp ...its my favorite ,most used practice amp
