Hey my friend. I tried this pickup twice in my LP Classic. It was good, but not what I was looking for. Settled on the Seymour Duncan Custom 5 (SH-14).

I love the 57C+ in my SG bridge, I thought I'd like to try one in my Chibson LP bridge. Do you have any 57C+ you want to sell?

My favorite LP pickup of all time. Very similar to the Duncan alnico Slash pickup with a little different mids.

I have the 57 Classic Plus in a Gibson SG. Nowhere near enough output....I'm surprised they refer to it as a 'plus' considering how weak they are....

Pull it out and I'll buy it off you, they are vintage toned and perfect for what I like. The 57 classic plus is in the 8.0k range, the 57 classic is in the 7.0k range, thats why they are called "plus", they are vintage paf style pickups. You might do better with something hotter in your guitar, matter fact I have a Dimarzio AT-1 I'll trade you.

This one measures 9.5k. The only saving grace is it came with the bridge magnet 180 out of phase. Sounds great in the middle position.

9.5 wow that seems a bit high, Gibson website says 8.3k and thats about what mine measures at. And magnet out of phase? Whats going on there? You sure its a 57 Classic Plus?

I have a hand-signed Kevin Taylor in the bridge of my custom double neck...its also 180 out of phase...

The Les Paul is totally stock with a 498T/496R and still has it's original PCB, although it's been copper shielded.

Originly flat black, I painted the top Aztec gold.
