Great nasty, articulate bridge tone without being too compressed. I think Shirley is my fave Friedman.

Friedman's have always been too high gain for my liking. These :2c: formulated with the use of YT demos only. I have never played thru one.

Do you like the Iso box? I have been thinking of trying one.

    Hey, man...
I like it. That's the best solution I found out for my situation. I live in an apartment and cant cranck my amp with a 4x12". Impossible. Specially at night, when I like to record.

And I really didn't like those loadboxes for silent recording. I see some videos in Youtube (UA OX, Two Notes Torpedo, Suhr, Fryette...) and they don't sound 100% organic for me. I saw a video of Steve Stevens and Torpedo Studio and I think that sounds really good, but I contacted Two Notes and they said it's not only the Torpedo Studio, but also a "high end" audio interface to get that tone. So, I will not spend all this money. The isobox is working for me.

My isobox is a clone of Randall 12C but I wanted 2 mics inside. And I can record anytime I want, specially because Friedman amps sounds freaking awesome at low volumes.

Friedman designs them to sound great at low volumes and any other volume too. My Jubilee sounds great at low volumes too but i just think an ISO box would be cool to have. Luckily I am in a house where I can crank my master to 6 or so and not get any sound complaints.

    Understood.
If you can crank your amp at home, you probably will not like so much the isobox... A real cab in loud volume + mic is much better than any tone you will get from an isobox.

    Um outro brasileiro!

Just for the sake collective understanding: great sound man! I had an isobox like yours, it´s much better than my current one (jet city). I really regret selling the rox stage isobox.

    Fala Filipe.
Man, I really love this iso. I live in an apartment and can't make much noise, especially at night, when I like to record...
Of course it's not like a cranked amp with real cab, but we can get the job done.

I really loved mine. I sold it before moving to mexico because I thought it would be easy to buy a new one here. But it was not. In the end I´be purchased a jet city and upgrade the hell out of it. but Stills worse than the roxstage. I´m selling it right now, lately I´m using the line out from my weber mass to my computer and using IRs.

But I´m going to build a vertical isobox that allows me to use my cabinets. I really like using real mics.

    Yeah!
If I had space I would get a bigger iso to place the cab inside.

I'll check out your clip later this week. Just got my mini DS a few weeks ago. I only played it about 2 hours and easy to get great tone quickly unlike my Mesa Mark V-35. I may just grab and gig the MDS this Friday. I've been sidetracked because I picked up a Dr Z Maz 18 late last week and taking a little effort to dial in.

    Hey, man!
DSM is a plug-n-play amp in my opinion. Great tones!
Let us know when you gig it.

Gigged Friday and the MDS was incredible. I used my old Ibanez Artist 50 with hot V2 pups and started with the highest gain voicing. (switch up pos) We opened with REO's Roll With the Changes and I needed ample gain to cover the leads. By the 3rd song I flipped on the lowest gain setting (switch middle pos) and sat there the rest of the night. With the Maxon 808 it was clear and cutting. Gain was set to 7. So many possibilities with this little tackle box sized amp. My other guitar playing took notice and he is a Marshall fan boy and builds his own amps. He's friends with Alan from Carol Anne amps who just sold one of his designs to Dr Z.
