    skid row.
they had two of the best guitar players from the 80s.
not very technical but they sure as hell could play.
the band wrote good songs Bach ruined them i think.

I live in the southern NJ area where Skid Row originates.

There was a lot of "holy shit" quotes about Sabastian Bach being the singer in Skid Row.

I don't mean that in a good way.

In the area public opinion, there were better singers available.

Also, didn't Gary Moore have a Skid Row band in the 70's?

How does that work with band names?

Anyway, Skid Row , in these parts, is the bastard child of Bon Jovi.

    Good drummer.

    Guitar players...........eeh.

The Good Rats were a local LI club band that was really good.

They made an album or two.

    Pepe has a good voice.

The Good Rats were extremely popular on the circuit along with Twisted Sister; Bonnie Parker; Tusk; Rat Race Choir & Zebra.

I recall seeing Twisted Sister at a club (Beggar's Opera)............it was packed.

I remember my wife asking me if I pinched her ass and I didn't................remember the club was packed.

I was jazzed that I passed the audition for Bonnie Parker.................but I passed on her pay offer.

I was offered $100.00 a week by her and her manager and, of course, I passed.

Bonnie was a big headliner on the circuit and the pay seemed less than a Jake E Lee deal.

I remember, yeah my younger days, being drunk and passing out by a PA bin.

I couldn't hear for some time after I came to.

I think Tico Torres (Bon Jovi drummer) was in one of those bands.

The LI circuit was a great learning experience..............lots of girls, lots of booze and drugs, lots of music.:agreed:
