    hi guys!
I love my Marshalls (Rip Jim)
and I have been modding my own amps for a couple of yrs now.
I started out with my plexi and ended up with my favorite sound ever.
It was done with the help of my bros over the sloclone forum.

I have vids on my youtube channel,, they were done with a cheap camera.
I will be recording soon with my proper mics but you can still get the essence.
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDa0UVOHkXQ&list=UULeymFO9XIiaNpTrCZMl00A&index=7&feature=plcp[/ame]

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKPXzOKZhis&list=UULeymFO9XIiaNpTrCZMl00A&index=4&feature=plcp[/ame]

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR4FH0xEIVU&feature=related[/ame]

I will get better clips up soon. But this amp kicks ass!
It beats my splawn, soldano, carvin n more!

The punch is just insane,,, my apprentice has trouble breathing when he walks in front of it! lol
The feel of it make you want to play till your fingers bleed.

The amp was a stock plexi circuit,, then modded to mod5 spec,, then turned into a c
    Chupacabra,browneye,cameron mix!

All in all it is my (JIP) pun intended because of the hassles I had which inspired me to diy mod.
I was tired of getting hosed by the "big named" mod guys so I learned.

JIP / Jose inspired plexi !

Actually upon looking at the schematics,,, cameron, friedman mods are
    Virtually identical! GO FIGURE?
I DONT REALLY LIKE CALLING IT BROWNEYE BECAUSE THE "BROWNEYE" IS A TERM MEANING ASSH#LE. IFIND IT DISRESPECTFUL TO REFER TO JOSE ARRENDONDOS WORK,,,
    AS THE ASSH#LE MOD?
I wouldnt want to see his family members saddened by the disrespectful nature in which these guys use his legacy for profit. And do it in such a tasteless way.
ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY MAKE LARGE BUCKS USING THE MAN'S MOD/CREATION.
    JUST SAYIN...JOSE RIP!

The mods that most do are actually derived from the late Jose Arrendondo.
The schems are over on slocloneforums.
I love this thing and it alone makes me want to flood ebay with all my other goodies to build another one!
Hope you enjoy! If any of you live in or around Md I invite you over to try it!.
I jam all day in my tattoo studio

Ceriatone can be found for that. Or another clone of the marshall superlead or jcm800 stylecircuit!
Some people dont want to mod the originals.
I would mod an original in a heartbeat because this suits my music better than stock plexis.
Plus,,, the sound is just outrageous,,, even at conversation levels.

Really great for plexi style or jcm800 amps
I just modded my jet city jca20h to this mod and it Kills!

    So fun to play too.
    Really touch sensative..and punchy!
Somewhat like a boogie in that catagory!
    But ALL BADASS MARSHALL!!!
No wonder its been held secret for so long!
This mod seems to have that effect on people!
Mr Arrendondo really knew his stuff!

    Welcome Billy!

    Sounds great man!

And it's great to have another tech capable person on the Forum that is willing to teach others.

I spotted that L.J. Metealtronix in the pic. You dont see those very often any more! I used to play through on in the late 80's / early 90's.

Thanks,,, this amp is a monster!
I did a/b testing with my splawn, avenger, carvin legacy and metaltronix.
It laid the smackdown on everything but the metaltronix!
    They tied!
    Check my youtube metaltronix vid.

They are like lion vs tiger,, a little fifferent but the same in a way. Two powerhouses!
    Equally powerful n beautiful !

I can help with this mod or perform them. I am just a tone connoisseur!
I had some bad experiences where I lost my amp. The pic in my profile is less than 1/3 my arsenal.
I have no need for anything free,,,i just wanted wywt I paid for!
To help people from going through what I did,,, I wanted 2 things.
#1 to help people get the sound without gettin ripped.
#2 to spread the fact these guys are not geniouses . And give the props to Jose. Rip

Telling the whole story would be foccussing on me,,, which I dont want to do and its allready been a long road!

My emotions are over and im just on autopilot to put this mod into peoples hands.
Either by pointing the way,,or doing it for them.
Im not motivated by money. I just want to shine the light on something great thats been hoarded and actually disrespected and abused,,, for too long!

The info is there,,, for people to make up their own minds.!

Im trying to help people by empowering them. Somehow,, it makes my loss seem less painful.

Funny that alot of stuff on the net concerning mods "preaches" to not use certain values of resistors in specific places. The info that was out there misled the masses.

This mod went against that info. It is my absolute favorite amp. Only the metaltronix is as good but this plexi is my favorite,, by a hair. Probably because it sounds uber badass and it has sentimental value being the amp that freed me from being a consumer.
It took a couple yrs to get to this point!
Alot of learning ,,, alot of lost money,,,and alot of backlash from the monopoly who until now,,, ruled this mod with iron fists and kept it secret.

Now,,, people can get a sound previously unavailable. And not get taken advantage of.

I took alot of lumps and its been a hard road.
But the willingness not to use the skill means the skill does not exist.
And I want to make it accessable to the regular guys out there that cant afford to lose
    Hard earned money!!!

    Thanks!
    I used a little jvc hd digi-corder.
The vids were primarily for my own use but I posted them anyway because
I felt it captured the base tones.
I will get better recordings up next week when I move the amps to the studio.
I want to capture the entire sound , including the awesome punch!
No amp in my collection feels like this.
The pic attack n bounce reminds me od my mesa n engl. Really sensative!
I think its my best amp! The growl in the room is awesome too!
Anyone in my area is invited to contact me for a demo.
Like I said,,, bring your favorite guitar,,, its just not for sale ; )
    But,,,
I can duplicate this all day long from doing this a few times,,, I know this mod inside n out!
Im to the point I can look at a schematic and tell you what sounds like just looking at the resistor values in som places

Your amp sounds kinda OK, but nothing like my Friedman KS JMP, yours sounds very buzzy & undefined, [muddy], i'm sure the Peavey cab isn't helping, but keep trying.

    Classy Dan....real classy.

    Billy
Ive heard more than my fair share of friedmans and Ive personally owned three Cameron Mods (one of which I still rock all the time) and even with your recording method being what it is you can tell your amp sounds far from bad.

Im used to the "no amp for you " guys!
    Talk about truth in advertising!
    Thats why im here.
I dealt with the "Browneye bunch" as well.
They are all running a monopoly on this mod.
You are NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACCESS TO THIS.
I VOWED I WILL HELP PEOPLE GET ACCESS IF I DIDNT GET MY AMP REPLACED!

IM CURRENTLY TALKING TO THE "NEW" OWNER. Dealing with him makes me wonder
If this "new" ownership is just a "paper deal" so they can slither out of unfullfilled transactions?
maybe I will get a replacement amp,,,but I think I"ll have a better chance ar seeing Satan shopping for a coat!
