    drives me up the wall.

how can you fix the sudden jump in volume in movies like
when the action starts? normal volume then all of a sudden the
volume jumps to 100 like in the opening of AMC the walking dead intro.
there has got to be a way guys.

Think its part of the effects in film production these days. Gives most people the s#!ts when on a tv though.

I've always thought TVs should be equipped with a comp for this reason.

these products are not geared to be helpful to the general public if they were they would design tv's that automaticly go to mute when the adverts start , but no they do the oppersite , they jump up in volume to grab your attention , and I avoid watching tv for this reason as it is annoying , and a lot of the time the advert breaks total to be longer than the programme its self

My TV has built in volume compression. I hate it. It ruins music. Every time a loud passage of music begins, the compressor kicks in and brings it down. Very annoying.

Wounded Warrior Project, recieved more than 1 billion in contributions for wounded vets, 800 million siphoned off by the top. Lots of work involved helping the vets eh?
