Got a used Catalinbread Galileo MkII a few months back. Based on their well-regarded Naga Viper (Dallas Rangemaster emulator) but incorporating cranked Vox AC30. Intended for Brian May's sound, which I'm not a big fan of, except his stuff like the "We Will Rock You" solo. I grabbed it 'cos I could get close to Rory Gallagher's sounds, bonus Blackmoreish and other fat '70s tones. Their Sabbra Cadabra cops Tony Iommi's Laney/Rangemaster sounds. Silicon components, so not a purist's preference, but more stable/consistent than Germanium. I get a bigger sound than any of my ODs can provide, love treble boosters. Interested to know what you got...

I had a Naga Viper for years and loved it but once I got my hands on the Laney TI boost it sent the Naga packing. It's an awesome pedal with tons of control which makes it easy to pair with any amp.

I actually just started looking for a Treble Booster to use with my AC30.

Anyone know what the go with the BBE Bohemian Treble Booster is. Read some good reviews but when you try and find one they dont seem to exist.

Maybe I am showing my age here but I used to have an old Roland AF100 bee baa treble booster which also had a fuzz and fuzz tone controls. I never used the fuzz control but did use the boost side of it through my old jcm 800 and it sounded great. Unfortunately while on tour my pedalboard was stolen and I never got it back. They don't make those anymore but I heard there was some good clones out there some where. Don't know if this helps.

Yep, thats my local guitar shop. I was asking about one the other day and for what ever reason they have never had one and haven't been able to get them.

Ive not been able to find one on line either (despite it being on the BBE website).

I have had a bunch currently down to these three:
    1. Monsterpiece MonsterDrive——just perfect TB
    2. JHS Banana Boost—-works great into a clean or driven amp
    3. Lovepedal White Dragon——has a TB side that is to die for.

This one sounds good. I think I got it from reverb.

I am sure the Laney TI boost is a great versatile boost but in NON of the videos I have watched do I hear "that sound". Tony's sound is fat but what I do not hear from this boost is what is in his lead tone. The higher frequency boost that has always been a part of his tone. I hear it in the Naga Viper but not in the Laney boost. I have been eye balling both trying to make a decision. I am leaning toward the Naga Viper. Please tell me I wrong.(but I don't think so)

i have 2 range master clones which are germanium based units and very different from each others...i have the beano boost from a very good batch around 1 year ago they used baldwin organ tranny it is very midrangy and it doesnt color the tone like a 808 ...a must have for blues rock players...and my other one is a jdm oc71 wich is less nasal sounding and have tons of bass on tap...more modern sounding but still very transparent and true to the original tone....
