Transformer Recommendation?

    ive got an amp from the U.K. (JVM1H, 1 watt head), can anybody recommend a transformer that would be suitable? The smaller the better as I’d love to tuck it behind the amp if possible

    sometimes it helps to give a little more info...

    I understand that you live in the States & want a 220v/50hz - 110v/60hz transformer, for the wall.

    You want to use the correct power transformer, not an external power converter.
    Many times the transformer in the amp will have different voltage taps already built in to change the voltages.
    I recommend you do that the factory way.

    I know the JVM1H Doesn't have a way to change the voltage, is there a reason that it's better to use the correct internal transformer rather than an external one? It seems like many people use external, and I'm having a hard time finding someone local that will do it
