Yes, because of the association with that guy Glenn Cornick of that heavy metal band, Jethro of the Tull, playing at the Toby Jug. I read that somewhere.

Ian's a mean flautist. It takes 400 watts of HiWatt to keep up!

I have a feeling that you would find the answer in some of the Russian amps. They always build extreme equipment. I do remember some of those old Fender amps -- So loud and obnoxious that it was scary. TURN irt down guys. Beautiful. Had a Fender Bassman 135 (or something) head with a master volume. Also, an old amp "THE TWIN" -- very loud amps. HOWEVER, the Meat Hammer would probably do the job for volume. Do we have speakers that can handle that?

This guy really does understand. I remember his version of the WORST amps ever. Once, we were trying out guitar players. This dude brought in some old half stack (not sure the brand) and a Firebird. Liked to killed us. I've never been the same. You could hear it for miles.

Yeah the speakers can be 600 watt, but the air pressure blows the speaker plug out of the cabinet.
So need to convert to twist loc connectors.

I've owned a JCM800 2203, which was followed immediately by a Twin Reverb and I would believe that.

In old Traynors wattage was just a guesstimate. Many of them were louder one could imagine. No reasonable human being would ever need that amount of volume. And they say us Canadians are nice and polite.....................
