Love the new album and long overdue. Adam Jones’ tone is simply incredible.

Oh, and it knocked Taylor Swift out of the #1 spot causing a lot of confusion for her fans who never even heard of Tool. The best comment I read from one of her fans is “Grandpa just discovered streaming music”. F’in hilarious.

it took me long time to digest the first song , and to be really honest I didnt like that much at first, it was just ok but little by little started to grow on me , I started to fell the melodies and by the second week of hearing it i just couldn stop , and then they drop the Album

    Kaboooooooommmmmmmmm!!!

Amazing the most proggy shit they ever have ever done
    no fear at all!

fantastic but if you paying attenction his tone change a lot a dont know what it is but it did change !!

i dont have the CD yet but it feels different tone , and streaming does not help to Judge his tone !!!

I know what you mean - 6 of the 10 songs are 10 mins or longer. I wasn’t sure about that at first but now I look at it as just extending the amount of time I get to hear it without having to replay it :)

I dunno. I was disappointed tbh. It's Tool, and it's new, and it sure took long enough...and maybe I'll catch shit for this, but I felt like it was rehashed and recycled material.

Pneuma is more or less AiC's Bleed the Freak lol

I wouldn't mind some more new APC

No shit from me - that’s your opinion and nothing wrong with it.

In a way I see where you’re coming from. It’s definitely Tool, weird shit and all, and maybe we’ve been deprived so long that anything from them will do, but for whatever the reason I’m really, really liking this album - listening to it all the time. I feel like I’m 14 years old again and just got home from the Flipside with Back in Black.

This thread caused me to listen again. I've been playing it all afternoon.

It's kinda growing on me. 7empest and Invincible are pretty good tunes.

Too funny :) I can do without #3 - Litanie contre la Peur, #8 - Chocolate Chip Trip and #10 - Mockingbeat. The rest kick ass.
