Just wondering if any has any experience with either of these two Attenuators. If so, can you give me your thoughts on them? Thanks.

I have never seen a negative review of a Rock Crusher. Based on this I think you should try one.

    Have you ever used either?

    I love my Rock Crusher.
Couldn't use my Plexi without it.
This is the Rock Crusher at full attenuation (bedroom level) with My Plexi.

Don't forget to take a look at the Bad Cat Unleash, it does so much more than your typical attenuator and has a good price point, I never used one but everyone that does loves it.

I love my Aracom DAG, usually held in the same regard as the Rockcrusher and the Ironman, but the Fryette Power Station changed the game with its versatility.

    Just a train of thought.

Great song that you nailed! I loved how you could definitely hear the chord changes, which I always think is good.

That is what I really liked on my family room setup. If you want to here drums, just listen and you can pull them out of the song, same for guitars or any other instrument, or just let them play in the song. Probably does not makes sense the way I am trying to describe it but it is the best I can do.

Also, that song is from AC/DC’s 1A album as I have to agree with Keith Richards in that Powerage is AC/DC best album hands down. That album, front to back is just a throat grabber.

Thank you very much for posting that for me and I wish I could play like that!

That one looks very nice but I am not sure I would ever need the power section of it. I do have one small amp which is a baby Blackstar 3 watt. I picked it up to play in rehab after surgery but it now usually just sits in with the other guys since I like the Union Jack on it.

Just ordered the Rivera Gold faceplate as I like that color better.

I never saw a gold one, I like it.
The Studio setting is what I used in the recording above, you can go down to a whisper with it.
Now you have to wait for it to arrive:h5:

I thought I had read the Gold was for their fiftieth anniversary, but besides that they are identical to the Donnie Osmond purple ones (might be showing my age or my bad humor).

They are good units. I like them not only because they knock off some of the volume but it's nice to be able to crank an amp after a repair and actually hear it as opposed to just looking at a waveform on a scope.

Is that song in standard tuning or dropped down a half step? Thanks.

    I played in standard.
I don't know what ACDC played in.
I'm interested now, will have to have a listen when I get home.

They do wander from standard to suit vocals.
