guys there have been a lot of shops offering great deals on gear
here lately and the offers are probably only gonna get more attractive in the
    coming weeks and months.
    think before you buy.
in todays world with this CV19 out of control and no end in sight, its a smart move to
keep your money in your pocket i think. you never know when the banks will shut down
or the economy will crash. cash will be king. nobody will be buying used gear that
you have up for sell because you didnt stop and think before you bought.

its not my business what you spend or when, but i want to remind you that the "deals"
always come during hard times. they dont care about you they just want to move product.
so think before you buy. you dont know whats gonna happen as early as tomorrow
much less a week from now. a loss of a job, a lay off, a death in the family, the
    list goes on guys.

remember all that glitters is not gold.
just a thought i had and started thinking about it. keep your money in your pockets
    folks during these trying times.

Yes stop buying gear, and shut down the economy.
    Life in the Coronaverse.
Pretty soon, I'm gonna live in a cardboard box. Luxury.

    They pay for meds?

I just realized, guitar center was 1 billion in debt, now this.
No wonder they pay for meds.

Dude, that sounds more like a personal problem.

I can go out and buy a $50k vehicle cash right now if I wanted to do so. My property is paid up I do not have to work if I do not want. But I took care of myself/family along the way. It is too bad if some cannot.

And do not kid yourself, there have always been crisis.

Its also not smart to withdrawal all your money and keep it on hand.

Great way to have a .45 shot between the eyes.

I am constantly scouring the net lookin for great deals. I literally have not seen anything worth splurging for at this time. However, I did make an offer on a LP BFG on Reverb just yesterday but it was rejected.

FWIW: I have a few items listed on my local Craigslist page that I just want to clear out and I haven't had a single cash offer yet. Some trade inquiries, but no cash! I think most folks are being frugal now. :hmm:

Someone wake me when the excitement starts. :woot:

IMO, buy went the sellers rent is due.

GC or Sam Ash is not the target.

    Ma & Pa stores are.

In these times, I'm not buying or selling.

    I'm always looking.

There's this limited edition Grestch Falcon that's on my radar.

    Maybe.

    Maybe not.

    I can dream.

There are things that just work for you.

Frugal is a prerequisite in my book............I think.

    Well, yeah.

I do gravitate like a magnet to somethings when I see them.

I've gone into a music store for a set of strings and then walk out with a guitar.

    Why?

    I dunno.

    The haggle/frugal are important.

Here's the set of strings I went into Freehold Music to buy...............

    Lonnie Mac V.jpg

The frugal was that it was $750.00.

Walter Carter told me that it was the first one made for retail sale.

I still have the Lonnie Mack V.

This was around New Year 1994.

I already got my Christmas gift.

I don't rember what it was.......but I'm sure it was a nice guitar.

    Frugal.

Good deals popping on Facebook marketplace. Buy when people are scared and sell when they’re confident, that’s how you make money.
