    Wow...I didn't know there was a clean channel on a JMP....

    ^ I don't think many people really utilize or even try the low input on those amps...I know when I first got my JMP I wanted to go balls-out with it (why it's famous) and that's too bad...the low input has a really, really versatile and beautiful sound-

    All I have to do it plug in pretty much any Gibson Humbucker guitar into a YJM/Plexi type Marshall and you can close. Angus' tone is all in his fingertips.

    And did you notice that not once in that video did he mention the Shaffer-Vega Diversity system that AC/DC used A LOT in a bunch of their albums, especially the legendary Back In Black album?

    Well, it's obviously for begginers. I don't think it's aimed at people with plexis :lol:

    He's talking to kids who use a LineShits with high gain, trying to play Back In Black.

    Or people with $4,000+ 30-year-old Shaffer-Vega Diversity dual-channel wireless systems.

    Fingers strong enough to play with low gain and milk the sustain is the first step.

    'Milk the sustain...' :hmm:

    As in squeezing a nipple or as in filling a bong type sustain?

    Now see, this is what I've discussed with some friends and I find it's a very important issue.

    Were the great rock bands of the '70s, '80s, and '90s awesome because they were on drugs...or were they on drugs because they were awesome?

    Take note that when these bands got CLEAN...they either broke up, their music started to suffer, or they just dropped off the map...for the most part.

    you know what, this guy gives very good advice to kids with their practice amp's. Obviously a guy with a Plexi doesnt need to know how to get ACDC tone..

    He was using a shitty Hybrid amp and getting a very convincing tone out of it. Proof is in the pudding.

    In a strange way he is right, it's a lot in the hands and fingers and it is not the tone from a high gain channel. It is the way he delivers the message that buggs me like he was working at the discovery channel...

    A plexi is a two channel amp (sort of or at least sold as such) I've seen a picture of Angus AC/DC playing a jtm45 and the cord was plugged into the upper input of the left channel, no bridge, not a special "clean channel"...

    I better get a life, last night I couldn't sleep as I was having nightmares of this SG-dude with his clean channels... :)

    Over and out! ::)
