I saw this one the other night.it wasn't scary but it was interesting & Willem Dafoe redid the Nosferatu part pretty convincingly.

Yeah I've never really gotten too freaked out by slasher flicks. However, some sci fi horror movies and ghost movies get me good. Love those.

    So here goes:

Rose Red - it's about 6 hours long but totally worth watching. It was a miniseries.

    Signs

I just saw Crimson Peak and it was really good.

    Paranormal Activity

The Ring (I freaked out for about a week if my TV went to static)

    White Noise

Was The Lawnmower Man a horror flick or Sci-Fi?

Remember seeing this as a kid. The first part anyway. Some guy went into a basement as I recall and opened up a freezer and a arm grabbed him by the neck. There was body parts in meat wrapping material all over the basement wiggling around in the rafters and all.
I went to the wash room and someone was barfing all over the place. I don't think I watched much more of the movie I think I sat in the lobby most of it.

The original Exorcist was a good thriller also.

I remember swimming in a lake 24 hour drive from the ocean and we were all in fear of sharks after that movie.. Bump Bump.

My dad took me to see Jaws at a drive in theater when I was 7 because my mom was having a Tupperware party at the house. Scared me to death.. then they had the audacity to by me a floating mattress with scary looking sharks (mouths open with teeth showing) all over it and a clear plastic piece at eye level if you are laying on you stomach so you can see through the murky water. Scared me to death to be on this thing in a lake.

In my late teens I became a scuba instructor and started doing shark dives to conquer my fears I guess.. that was a lot of fun.. they are not scary at all in person.
