Not that album but " Force It" for the youngsters who don't have it , buy it.
Long time trying this song but just a little closer today. Not using a amp and the bumble after the first break is me trying to adjust the volume :

Oh and what sounds like pinch harmonics is just how hard I am trying to hit the notes not intentional.

As a whole, I think you did a great job on it brother, I cannot do the lead parts for nothing, and I don’t even try!
But I can with a bit of work get the rhythm, have never taken the time to learn this one .
But a wise choice in something I love hearing.
    Cheers Mitch

And if you wanna hear my struggle with Mother Mary. I put it on the DSL CLIPS ONLY thread, so I don’t mess up Ibmorjamn’s thread here.

    Great work!!
I was lucky enough to get to see UFO several times, between my mid to late teens. Those concerts still firmly etched into long-term memories - the band, plus Priest toured very heavily in my city, in the UK long before I migrated to Oz.
    Great stuff, Schencker never dull!!!!

what did you use? (you said you didn't use an amp) It seems kind of funky, like it's always cutting out...

That is a tough song. Did you play all the parts? I pulled up a backing track, but, I'd need to figure out the order of things. I've never tried playing to a track/band. Just from memory on guitar...

Yeah it is sort of hard to play it. I remember the part. First time I had a backing track to that song. I need to play them together and see what I missed. It is the pod 2. Cut out It was me trying to adjust the volume . It was set for lead volume and pulled Bach for the rhythm (a little to much) The slow melodies are not quite right. I know he uses a volume pedal for swells . Yes , I played all the guitar parts. The main track is pretty much live . Came back and did the fill ‘s

what I mean is like you have some sort of gate, cutting off each note. The pod explains it...

I'd like to hear it w/o the overdubs...

I think, in one month, you can nail it. Or Two hours a day on it will get you there much quicker. Give it a go-two weeks of solid practice on it.
