Most of the questions that have been asked here will find the beginning of an answer in this book.

I have the first edition from July '93. It's 254 pages. It covers up to the 900 era basically. I've used the appendix on Celestion speakers quite a bit.

of course a book like this one can't replace a forum where users and lovers talk about experiences and knowledge :)

I guess it's a little bit of a grey area, I can see your point. However, Mike Doyle starts the preface "It's been 11 years since my first book..." and it does say "First Edition July 1993" in the inside cover. So I think the author considered it his second book. But I think your right even Doyle considered it the second version of this work. I'd like to check out the third version for sure.

It's funny he ends the 1993 preface with- "So, until 2004 or so, turn it up!!"

Hell, by now there should be a fourth version, by that accounting.:D

Rich Maloof’s book covers through Y2K. …… Some great chapters on the Factory and Promo through the years …… Totally Different than Doyle’s offering……
