I got to play Randy’s, no amp but I did put my hands on it, Karl was the luthier who set the humbucker in my strat, and fine tuned my Explorer, many moons ago.
And I had no idea he was the one who built it!
Its no karl Its gmw i saw it in a guitarshop play it for 30 minutes ok its mine came with a case and off i leave i was on foot walkt 3km man its heavy i have too rest 5 times i think my right arm is a bit longer lol

First off those are two great looking V's and Korina is the wood and the sound (as well as Mahogany ) I just looked at the price on the Reverb link and have to agree with you that they are over priced but as they say it is a buyers market . You are so right in your comments about looking for a Korina leftover .
When I acquired my '82 Gibson Heritage Korina Flying V and my 1956 Les Paul Junior, I never imagined these guitars would be so expensive.
My trade + cash was less than $1500.00.
