    nice article! i’ve been picking up silver stripe bandits on the cheap around here. also got a peavy rage 158 for real cheap. excellent little amp! prices are so low on these right now the pawn shops are making me buy them!

    i’ve seen the light brother!

    first real amp was a peavy standard in high school. then i turned my nose up at them when i started buying tubes. but these used bandits are pretty amazing for the price. i am going to look at another one today!

    Those look cool but they’ve got as many tubes as a Mesa /boogie. And probably weigh just as much

    I'm going to have to take back some of the stuff I said about Peavey, that's a very nice looking amp. What is she like? Fender, Marshall, Mesa? Looks like those Carvin Vintage series amp's. A guy on here has one with a mod on the back that is awesome.
