    my buddy found his stolen, absolutely one-of-kind drumkit on CL years after it got ripped off and quietly went and bought of from the guy.

    If it's true, I doubt they'll get most of the stuff back (hard to say what exactly was stolen, so there's that to consider).

    My guess is that if the story is true, the people who stole if absolutely know what they got and are either fans (which means they'll probably keep it for themselves) or can unload the stuff very easily.

    Doesn't matter in the end because they aint gonna sound like Randy no matter how hard they try.

    this kind of robbery is not random. someone paid big money for that job.
