    ...You Turn Me On

    Yamaha Keyboarad direct
    Ibanez Bass direct
    Ibanez AE direct
    Yamaha Electronic Drums direct
    D'Angelico Semi-hollow JVM205
    Tradition LP JVM205
    Guild Acoustic SM57
    My not-Greg-Lake voice

I think Greg was singing about his muses and about his art. I made this video from images that are the sorts of things that inspire my creativity, things that turn me on.

I hope you like it. It was fun to make.

Thanks again, Mitch. I wish I could write more songs--I write them in my sleep and at other inopportune times, and seldom remember them! A while back I made it a goal to learn "Still..." and decided that it would be this winter's recording project. I didn't write it (I wish I had, but then who doesn't?) but I did come up with the piano intro and the guitar solo that are not in the ELP version. So maybe that counts as writing? Anyway, I figure if you are going to do a cover you might as well put your own stamp on it, for better or worse.

TR I have had many ideas for song riffs, and can put down the guitar to record it with my phone, and stumble through the melody and it’s lost, I have a piece that I need to get back to work on, but I am still fishing for parts that will work for it, it’s called Riffs, and I have three parts to configure together, I truly appreciate making it your own, we used to do the same thing with damm near every cover we ever played.
    Cheers
