Now then, i was an itunes user but i decided to go to spotify. Oh dear, basically you can look up any song in history (or near enough) and then listen to it for free and make a playlist of everything you listen to, had it for 20 minutes, i've got about 6000 tracks already.
I feel bad for not paying for it so i think i'm gonna go premium so atleast my conscience is clear!
Basically, itunes for poor people, if you are poor like me, then i recommend checking it out.
    Cheers
    Chris

    Cheap Amazon CDs!

That's how I get my music these days, I pay a small fee for an album.

It's legal, I get the cd case and cd - the quality is better than MP3 too - although I do stash all my music in iTunes and on my iPod.

Music still has a monetary value to artists, record companies, producers, distributors etc. Don't forget that. People think it's just free...

My music only goes up to around 1999 anyway! so cheap Cds on everything is available.

I never used iTunes because many of my friends recommended Spotify, It is the best digital music service provider. Indeed!

    I'm not sure.
I tried it, but it requires a Facebook login. I'm not sharing that with them.

Sorry...I will ALWAYS pay for music. Whether it's downloading it through a legitimate provider, or buying CD's.

Thnx for the tip. I lost a $1000 worth of tunes from itunes. You think you can contact them fuckers >>> no way.
You can email them and all you get is auto response. Do they actually exist.

You can only listen to a song 5 times with spotify free though, so it's not gonna take over.

Anything you've bought through iTunes can be re-downloaded as long as you're using the same account and don't have the songs already downloaded on 5 devices. So, there's no way to "lose" them.

That's news to me, and I've been using Spotify for several months. I listen to a lot of the same playlists over and over, and have never reached a limit.

I guess I don't see the issue with not paying for it. You don't really get too many ads, but they pay for the things that you would be paying for. Same with Pandora or the radio.

EDIT: Not saying that you're wrong for paying for it. That's fine if that's what you want to do.

Bumping this up, as I have made a Spotify playlist with Billy Gibbons' collaborations with other musicians there. I thought some of you Marshall fans might enjoy the sounds, even if they come from a different amp now and then. ;-) See my blog on Last.fm for the links and some news about the new ZZ Top CD box with the original album mixes.

Not 100% sure about downloading to an iPod, but if you pay the $10 a month, I know you can download to your computer and to your phone. Which would lead me to believe that you could do the same for at least a newer iPod. You can only play the music as long as you're paying for the service though.

What, you don't want them laughing at your 9 friends, 4 of which are super hot girls with old ladys' (Edna, Martha, Ester) names, who only post about making money working from home or that they're on webcam RIGHT NOW?
