    Hi

    Got a JCM 900 4102 equipped with (2) G12T-75 12. Want to switch them out with a V30 and a Creamback.

Has anyone tried this combo? Which creamback would be better, the Neo, H75 or the M65?

I do push the amp so I really don't want to put a Greenback in there.

Play Hard Rock, Classic Rock and Blues.

My main 2 used guitars on this amp is a LP and a Strat

I always thought (maybe erroneously) that the 75s suited 900 series?
V30s would be the 'metal' upgrade for a tighter response.

My brother just put the exact pair in a 2x12 box. It sounds great. You can't go wrong.

I play a similar genre and have a 2x12 with a pair of Creamback M65. I use it with plexis. I haven't tried a V30 mixed with an M65 but would say there is an efficiency difference that would probably have the V30 bury the M65 in volume. That said I never like the sound of any mix period. Just doesn't work for me and all I do is tweak without satisfaction. I can easily dial in what I want when speakers are the same. When I mix similar db speakers that are different models all I hear is frequencies clashing and when the db is greater in one speaker than the other all I hear is the higher volume speaker. To each their own.
