Thanks for sharing all this stuff
Great stuff DOD!
So it looks like Marshall introduced a bunch of new finishes for their amps and thats about it Im ok with that, it means they are still working on the next big thing.
Heard the guitarist for the biggest hard rock band in the world right now is at the Gibson booth this year...
Who is that?
Awesome DoD!! You always do such a great job being the eyes and ears for us.
I don't know why people expect new designes every year... last years big success was scaled down versions of 45 and 55 year old designs... and people don't really want anything else, it seems, other than something new to talk about....
I figured with the big push on yootoob last week with the CODE tutorials there would be a re-vamped version of the modellers coming.
Seems weird they waited so many years to put those tutorials up and do it right before NAMM.
Great meeting you yesterday @Dogs of Doom! I'll let you know if I'm able to meet you later for a pic.
Steve told me there will be new amps later this year, so we'll see what happens.
@Dogs of Doom - If you could get a pic w/Adam Jones I will change my avatar to whatever pic you decide, for one month.
eeemm... steve even doesn't seem "that" enthousiast about these releases. for this 2020 round number namm I would expect real new stuff indeed
thx for sharing pics !
Maybe it’s already been discussed on previous pages, but I noticed on Sweetwater’s website new Marshall SV 20 watters. Their advertised as 1959s and have snakeskin, white or navy blue tolex. There are also matching cabs. I wonder if their as great as the SV and SC.
I'm home now, so no Adam Jones... You say he was working the Gibson booth?
Gibson owned just about the whole 3rd floor. A big room for their acoustics...
I like the Stealth head and the blue one. Both are hot.
Thanks @Dogs of Doom for all the great pics and info!!
That awesome! Matt told me that he met you but he wasn't sure what your name is on the forum.
He had a great time and met and jammed with a lot of people. He was there to play at the Anatomy of Sound booth thur, fri, and sat...and checked out the show when he wasn't playing.
Looks like he will be getting some nice endorsements so it was a great opportunity for him.
