Here are some upcoming recovering projects. I am no fan of recovering as I am so slow at it!!!

    but some cool projects

one 69 4x12 cab stripped and painted brown... ? Why...

One amp head box 50 watt 69 originally yellow (back panel still original yellow) recovered in black smooth vinyl... ? Why?...

one early 63 amp head box split front. Stripped but front original... ? Why?...

    Nice projects!

Did you buy that yellow Amp from Rasmus here in Denmark?

    Who do things like that??

My '66 Jtm45/100 was also stripped and painted White and Gray??
And my '68 super trem was stripped and painted black, found red Rolex under the handle..
Also has a '68 1960B cab which was painted black All over, but when the paint was removed, it was purple underneath!

back in the day they didn't have easy way of finding replacement tolex...in my humble opinion, so they opted for stripping and painting stuff...unfortunately...however I like this:

I have always wanted to try recovering a cab but never got around to it and not sure how good it would turn out with no experience with it at all!?

Try an elephant hide type one first. They are more forgiving (doesn't tear) and you can cover the difficult corners with the protectors if they don't work out 100%.

Still no rexin... got the glue for Rasmus yellow 50 matter. But when we spoke he said no hurry. I am in Sweden and he is in Denmark takes 30 min to cross with train or car between the countries but Denmark closed up do to the Corona so we can't visit easily.

The brown cab lot of work and will make a mess at home, so I think I better do it some days when the wife is occupied with something so it there is no conflict... :)

Smart man. My wife helped me cover a DIY 2x12 recently but I worked the project in when it was convenient for her!
