So outta nowhere a dude called me about the Mini Jubilee I had and he wanted to trade it with an orange th30.
We met and he tried and he took it and I took the th30.
It is so good with single coils (the jubilee was horrendous with my Stratocaster). The distortion is so fat, it kinda reminds me old Marshall on steroids.
I am waiting my Les Paul from the luthier to try it out properly.

The tone shape is interesting and kinda I prefer it than the normal treble bass middle. Maybe I’ll stack a eq if I find it limited in the future.
If anyone has the same amp do you have any tips for tone shaping ?

And bonus question can I exchange the el84 it has for el34???

An EL34 has an 8 pin octal base. An EL84 has a nine pin miniature base like a 12AX7. Good luck figuring out a way to plug one into the other's socket!

Not sure why you would want 34's in there it's got 30/15/7w options anyway you'd be sort of going backwards IMO. If you want to make a difference in the tone stack put a NOS GE 5751 up front they really bring Orange alive especially singles or P90's.

    I didn’t say that I want el34, I asked if they fit.
Anyway, immo the amp is so good with single coils now. The jubilee was really bad for crunchy tones with my Stratocaster. Can’t wait to try it with my Les Paul custom
