I know this has been posted before but I dont see a solution or fix for it anywhere I look. My SL5 pops when switching channels. Its louder when playing but still there when the guitar is quiet. I ve also read there is no cure and happens to quite a few different amps.
Any help would be great. Thanks

If you’ve read there’s no cure then there’s likely no cure. Marshall’s recent track record with channel switching and effect loop issues isn’t impressive.

I owned a 1980 Fender 30 all tube amp that did the same thing. A loud POP when switching channels,......

Mine did the same. Far as I was aware there was no solution. Although once turned it up loud it wasnt that distracting from what I remember.

I dropped it off at a techs house today. If he figures out the problem I will for sure share this info here. Seems common.
Rich88uk I cant play loud enough to drown it out, not with 2 13 month olds lol..eventually I ll be able to

I know how that feels. The SL5 sounds great for low volume
