I have had one in my rack for almost 20 years. IMHO it is the best preamp ever made. I am fearful of the day that it quits working and it can no longer be fixed. The one I currently own had a service last year with new caps, a battery and tranny.

That is digital tech that is I'm guessing around 20 years old. I doubt Marshall could get the same chips and processors now. The best they could do is try to emulate it. Somehow emulations always fall short. Buy up some spares.

It would be cool but I don't think it would sell well in its current form. Old school preamps aren't exactly flying out the door these days.

I would buy a brand new one at a decent price if it were available. Hell I like the sound of a ADA MP-1 even though my Kemper handles all of those old Rack mount tones thanks to Big Hairy Profiles.

They should have released a new one 5 years ago. It won't happen. The money grubbers running Marshall now see no demand or profit in rack gear.
