Looking for help on how and who to ship a Marshall 4x12.Thanks
I've heard of people sending them through Greyhound...
I can tell you from experience with a Fedex corporate discount an unloaded cab was about $150 Dallas to Chicago burbs a year ago - LCL was the same. Never thought about Greyhound. The size of the damn box kills it.
I put 1/8" plywood over the speaker grill.
These cabs are a bitch to sell, ship, package and put any money in your pocket unless sod locally. I'm about to list one on Craigslist. A pain in the a-s! We will see what happens.
This one is a high dollar vintage cab so that is the only reason I'm shipping. It will put a bunch of $$ in my pocket!
I just picked up a brand new jcm 900 1960A 4 x 12with a small 2" tear in the speaker cloth....
$450 shipped to my door!
The seller used Fed Ex.
Not sure on the exact shipping price ???
If the value of the cab is that high maybe the buyer would be willing to spring for a flight case? It's big ,bulky, and expensive but it will arrive damage free.
Pete Mather mailed me an Oversized TVB cabinet with about 4 inches of Styrofoam all around a big Box.
Was $200 Shipping 6 months ago Shipping from Va, to Ky. Fedx.
you could have driven there and saved cash bro lol.
I shipped it w/it incased in a styrofoam box, then built a box around it. Taped it solid. Arrived in perfect shape Fed Ex $145 Denver to Minnesota
