So I'm following Fender's official instructions on setting intonation on a 25.5" scale-length strat. What does "center of bridge saddle" mean exactly? I thought it meant the very center of the saddle where the string would feed through. Is that not the center? Because measuring from the inside of the nut 25.5" leaves me hovering right behind one of the bridge-plate screws, there's no way the bridge saddle can move forward enough for the center of it to reach exactly 25.5" from the inside-edge of the nut.
