Wow...these small planes and Coppers!
Two weeks ago a big fish in a small pond where I live died in a Copper crash he was flying. It was a 1 year old Copper. He was experienced. I knew his wife before she met him! We had a lot in common...shes so cool. Marries this rich fat slob 20 plus years her age...whatever. Two kids hes dead! Stay away from small air craft...period! The list of wealthy dead proves it!
Shows how precious, and fragile, life really is. Seize every moment, make amends, forgive quickly.
I'll just leave this here (if you count the bolts that fell out, it even predicted the number of people who would die).
Was he perhaps obsessed with flying in helicopters or needed to get around quickly not wanting to be stuck in L.A. traffic . Bizarre non the less R.I.P Kobe and Gianna . 9 people died all together.
I am wondering the same...
If he was known to travel often by helo, then I mean, I suppose it isn't such a stretch.
Most everyone who rides a motorcycle of any kind has a story about that one time when they crashed or whatever....
When a chopper goes down though...bit different.
5 in the copter.
I guess it's been updated a few times. First report I read said 4, then 5, and now 9? I did hear of other deaths, but it was also reported they were not in the copter. I suppose it was tough to determine at first due to it blowing up ... must have been an absolute mess. What freaks me out about the whole thing is what must have been on his mind while going down ... terrifying ... and to have your daughter onboard? The worst. Dude also just had another baby last year. So sad for him.
Very sad news.
I saw totally floored when I think how I expected the day was going to be quiet and pleasantly foggy Sunday. I think of Kobe, his daughter, and the other lives lost and I find myself thinking of Stevie Ray, Buddy, Ritchie, Big Bop, and many others gone so unexpectedly and swiftly.
Thoughts and prayers for all that were lost in today's horrific tragedy.
Video removed? The plot thickens
I live in Ventura county the crash is not that far from the coast . It has Ben foggy marine layer most of the day low visibility .
what was the video?

the upside down helo?
I have flown in helicopters, too many times................only because I had to to it.
Its a form of transprtation but not much better than private planes. Their crash numbers are hgh enough that I would never choose to use one on my own. A formidable form of transportation with a risk factor as far as I am concerned. The risk factors also include conditions like weather.
I mean I have used boats, ships, planes, jets, buses and cars too.
Yup, what DOD said. You can still see it on the twitter feed I linked above (watch both).
those were his NBA rings...
