Current Doug Aldrich; Jack Blades; Deen Castronovo attempt to catch on.

Kinda like Jouney without Neal & Jonathan.

Could be more than a one CD release................maybe.

I think Doug Aldrich has a say in this gig instead of being a hired gun.

The musicianship is outstanding, instruments sound great, vocals too! :dude:

Imo, it comes down to writing. Imo, the best is to let the song just come to you. This type of writing takes you to new places, you follow where the song leads you.. This type of writing has its own time table. Inspired playing and writing, not much thought. The feeling is in the writing, the song itself.

Then there is writing from head knowledge and forcing it based off that. Your in control, the structure of the song maybe correct in all aspects, but the song lacks something. Mostly thought out. Feeling is added to the song.

    just something to think about.....

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    IMO, the band sounds pro.

The sound is a bit on the corporate side.

IMO, that's not a bad thing.

Damn Yankees started out with a cool corporate sound too.

Maybe Doug has come upon a home.

Could have been done by Journey.....................

If Mutt Lange produced this, the production would have had everything doubled and tripled and have vocals sound like "Pour Some Sugar On Me".
