Just had a client order four Scumback speakers and wants to keep it a secret from prying eyes, ears and tattle tale relatives. Usually shipping to a business is 1 day faster than a residential delivery, too.

Walgreens will receive your shipment and all you need is your ID to pick it up, and they stay open late. It will also curtail the porch pirates from getting your gear.

I offer this as a PSA to those it could help!

Fed Ex is the way to go. UPS is impossible to deal with, so much so that i will decline purchases if they insist on UPS. Usually though the sellers will go with Fed Ex to get the sale. The shop i bought my 2555x from at first was telling me they had to use UPS because of some reverb deal and when i pulled the plug on the amp purchase it didn't take long for the shop owner to email me back saying Fed Ex was fine.

    everybody does...

especially the fact, that, 80% of the time, they don't know what they've got, even after they've stolen it, so either it goes in the trash bin, or they sell it for pennies on the dollar...

I like using Walgreens. Eliminates theft and weather from the shipping hazards equation.

Canadians who want to do something similar can sign up for FlexAddress at their local post office. They send you an email when your parcel arrives. The service is free, and the only issue arises if a seller doesn't ship to post offoce boxes. Hasn't been an issue for me yet, and I like the added security.
