1956 Gibson Mandolin EM-150 crashes the SG family reunion party
That one, 1967.
Oh that’s right, I don’t have one yet - damn!
I’ve been really liking the SG Standard w/P-90’s lately. Really like the bite of those pups. Unfortunately this one is probably a long way off unless I can find one used at a great price. Been spending a lot on gear lately so need to reel it in for a while.
I’m going to be jealous following this thread.
My SG Standard
My SG Standard and the Epiphone G400 I used to have.
67 Junior (sold to finance 58)
63 Junior Superbad ! a rescue of sorts
98 Special .... Gibson USA was puttin' out some pretty consistent quality guitars for a time .This is one.
All American I (SG X)
When I first started goin on the road , you could pick up some nice guitars, cheap . The www was in it's infancy ,prices hadn't got outa control. I think this was under 350. The 1st time I sat in w/ Gary Moore, I had this guitar .He was quite intrigued by it
72 EB4-L Howz bout some BASS ! (In Chuck D voice)

74 SB 450
I have owned a few over the years but my 2018 Standard is the best playing one I have had.
Just two for me, but their good'uns.
74' SG Standard, Ebony board.
AMS, that is exactly like the SG I had from the 60s, stolen in the 70s.
Here's mine... Just got it ... Love it ! P90's Rock !
I'm all about my SG, its a 2005 faded with 57C+ and 57C pickups
A lefty, eh? Where's your Tony Iommi model?
I posted these elsewhere recently, but here are my two...
In 40 years Ive gotten 4 guitars new .The strat my parents gave me for HS gradution, One of the 1st '67 reissue Flyin Vs, a faded SG Special
And one of these ,which I bought new in '89 because I liked the color ......nevermind that it was a 25.5" scale. I always wondered why I couldn't get the SG honk out of it . Sold it way back around 92
I have a couple.
I had one of those 2002 SG moonies too, now in my son's possession as well as that EP-4. Fret nubs would cut your hand. That had to be fixed. Very old pic.
I only have the metallic green Std; Custom and the '62 SG/LP Jr. now.............and the Marshall :>)
Here's my namesake, a 1967 SG Special with patent sticker HB's. I've owned her for 31 years, and both my sons learned to play on this baby.
Bad pics as usual...
