Sad news indeed.
Molly Hatchet Lead guitarist. I saw them about 5 times or so and got my ticket stubs autographed in the 80's at clubs, Before Skynyrd reformed from the crash they use to close out there shows with freebird and no vocals dedicated to Ronny. They always put on a great show and he was a real bad ass on guitar.
Very sad. I relive part of my childhood hearing Flirting with Disaster. Heard that a lot as a kid. Very good musicians.
I wish you would not merge these for a few days no one will see Daves RIP because it was moved in les than 12 hours to where I dont know where this even is
Walter Becker of Steely Dan died this weekend...very sad.
On a related note, the source of the band's name is "interesting": William S. Burroughs novel Naked Lunch.
I think some of you Steely Dan fans need to be careful when if you ask your wife or your buddies to "put on some Steely Dan." You just might be very surprised what happens next. oo la la!
Rip. Troy Gentry
he jammed. safe for rock fans to listen to too.
damn our country brothers and sisters got the 1-2 punch today.
finally somebody else that knows this guy.
whos the chic X?
The young lady is Kirsty Lee Akers , an Australian country star
Is she 3 feet tall?
Yes. Well upon verifying : Height: 4' 10"
I appreciate the merges. We're supposed to add them in the RIP thread in the first place. Personally, I'd rather not see a continuum of death notices listed on The Backstage every time I log in. It was really getting to be depressing and out of control at one point. While I don't know if there's an ultimate solution for RIP threads on the Marshall Forum, I do envision something like a sub-forum similar to Afterhours where you don't have to see it unless you want to. But as far as RIP's clogging up The Backstage on a regular basis, I'm totally not a fan.
